AHHA Ceases to Exist as of August 1st

As of August 1st, 2018, the AHHA (American Holsteiner Horse Association) ceases to exist.

According to a recent press release, the German Holsteiner Verband initiated the establishment of two sections in their studbook. All those foreign born horses with some Holsteiner pedigree will now be incorporated into their new Holstein Global section in Germany. The Holsteiner horses born in Germany will be in the regular existing Holsteiner Studbook.

Members and former members of the AHHA who want to keep their horses’ registration in the US instead of having to transfer everything to Germany can have their records transferred to the AWR with minimum efforts.

All records as outlined on the issued AHHA Certificates of Registration will be preserved in our database.
