It provides the latest updates about this exquisite event that will take place at the National Equestrian Centre in Ermelo from July 28th to 31st of July 2016.
The venue covering a surface of 60 acres was officially opened by King Willem-Alexander in 2014 and provides an incredible setting for this championship. Enjoy four days of the greatest international dressage prospects! Visit our website for the program!
New: Championships for seven-year-olds!
For years, the best up-and-coming five- and six-year old dressage horses performed individual tests to clinch first place at the four-day world championships. From 2016 onwards the international equestrian federation FEI adds a competition for seven-year-olds to the four-day program, next to the existent championships for five- and six-year-old dressage horses. Thus also your best seven-year-old dressage talent may get selected for this prestigious championship this year! The detailed schedule will be published on www.ermeloyh.com shortly. Via this website you will find more information about the registration and application in due time.
Alongside the World Championships battle between five-, six- and seven-year-old dressage prospects we can enjoy additional young talents in Ermelo (Netherlands)! On Saturday a new class is added to the program: a battle between four-year-old stallions! The most promising four-year-old dressage talents will compete for the highest honor. In an individual round the talents will be assessed on their overall impression as a dressage horse. This competition is open for all in 2012 born stallions that have been approved by a WBFSH-studbook. More news soon!
